Synopsis:

The self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe rents a room in an old, precarious building in Akihabara, where he pursues the hobby of inventing potential “future gadgets” with other members of the lab: Mayuri Shiina, his childhood friend with an airhead, and Hashida Itaru, a perverted hacker nicknamed "Daru".

The three spend their time tinkering with their most promising contraption to date, a machine dubbed the “Microwave by Phone”, which performs the strange function of turning bananas into piles of green gel.

Although miraculous in itself, the phenomenon provides nothing concrete in Okabe's quest for scientific advancement; that is, until lab members are encouraged to act on a series of mysterious events before they encounter unexpected success - Phone Microwave can send emails to the past, altering the flow of history.

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Synopsis:
