Synopsis:

Everyone has had a stage in their life when they considered themselves special, different from ordinary human masses.

They may go so far as to be able to exercise mystical powers, or perhaps even believe that they have descended from a fantasy realm.

This "illness" is known as "chuunibyou" and is often the source of some of the most embarrassing moments in a person's life. For Yuuta Togashi, the scars his chuunibyou left behind are still there.

Having introduced himself as the “Master of Dark Flames” during his high school years, he looks at these moments with extreme embarrassment, so much so that he decides to study in a distant school, where no one will recognize him.

Hiding his dark history behind him, he wants to live a normal high school life.

Unfortunately, he has not yet escaped his past: between Rikka Takanashi, Yuuta's new classmate and the self-declared “Evil Eye” vessel.

When this eccentric young woman collides with Yuuta's life, her dream of an ordinary, chuunibyou-free life quickly collapses.
